Adultery is the sin of "knowing" or "laying with" someone other than your husband or wife. The Bible forbids adultery in the Ten Commandments. The punishment for adultery, according the Bible, should be death. Most, if not all, Christians don't follow this punishment because we don't have to follow the law any more - just believe in Jesus.
