Alvin Plantinga

Alvin Carl Plantinga (born November 15, 1932, Ann Arbor, Michigan) is a current professor of philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana. He is known for his lectures in the debate over divine sovereignty and providence, as well as works on the existence of God. He is a Christian, and has rebutted many of the arguments of Richard Dawkins.
