Ameland

Ameland is an island and a municipality of the province Friesland, The Netherlands and is situated East of Terschelling and West of Schiermonnikoog. Nes is a town and municipal center of Ameland, Hollum is the most populated town. Other smaller towns are Buren and Ballum.
Islets
East of Ameland there are two small uninhabited islets named Engelsmanplaat and Rif.
