Brad O'Leary is a conservative author, best known for his books The Audacity of Deceit and America's War on Christianity. On Phyllis Schlafly's Eagle Forum Live radio show, he observed that Obama's primary goal is "to replace the power of God with the power of government." He has warned that the Hate Crimes Prevention Act coupled with the Southern Poverty Law Center's widely-ridiculed designation of several conservative organizations as "hate groups" may lead to the government-ordered shutdown of various socially conservative activist organizations.
