Capitalism: A Love Story is a propaganda film in the documentary format by liberal socialist Michael Moore. In it, he attempts to discredit capitalism, calling it "evil" and stating that it must be destroyed. He interviews Catholic clergy who express concerns about capitalism, although he does not mention the history of Catholics, including Pope John Paul II, in helping lead the anti-communist movement. In the melodramatic climax of the film he tries to arrest prominent industrialists for making money. Over the ending credits, the music playing is a modern rendition of the socialist anthem and first national anthem of the Soviet Union, "The Internationale".
