Christine Cloud is a Christian missionary/evangelist, who was attacked in San Francisco's Castro district by a gay activist while protesting gay marriage- by singing Amazing Grace. The attacker stole her Bible and then hit her in the head with it. Rather than press charges, she asked the police to tell him that she forgave him.
Her story was covered on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" on November 20, 2008.
