Civil War is a dystopian fiction film released in 2024. The film centers around a group of photojournalists traveling the United States after it has descended into civil war following the President's refusal to leave office after his constitutionally required two terms in office.

The film centers around one group of states (the "loyalist states", consisting of New England, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwestern states, with the additions of Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, and the Desert Southwest states, and surprisingly South Carolina) supporting the current government, with three factions seeking to take power: the "New People's Army" (a mix of upper Midwest and Rocky Mountain states with Washington and Oregon as well), the "Florida Alliance" (a remake of most of the old Confederacy, less South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Texas, but with Oklahoma added), and the ultimately successful "Western States" (the very odd pairing of Texas and California, two states who are political opposites).
