Conservapedia talk:Suggestions on Promoting Conservapedia
What about a Facebook account? It's a very popular place. --LouP 13:36, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
Facebook and past problems with sexual predators
Has Facebook solved or greatly diminished to their problems with sexual predators going after minors on their website? If memory serves they had problems in this area. I believe they have been working with various government authorities on this matter but I was reluctant to cite them unless I had more information. Conservative 14:34, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
- They have taken some steps but the jury is still out on how effective they will be as it is too early to tell. Please see: http://www.time.com/time/business/article/0,8599,1738560,00.html?xid=feed-cnn-topics
In the meantime, I think we should be cautious. Conservative 14:47, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
Newsletter
I would suggest a Conservapedia newsletter, issued once a month. People could subscribe to it and receive news and updates about the site's most important events.--Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 15:00, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
- Not sure we have the manpower to do that, however, perhaps a news about Conservapedia page could be created. Conservative 15:49, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
I suppose. Although I thought that a newsletter might remind people who haven't checked the site in a while to do so, whereas a page here would only inform people who read it fairly regularly (and those people probably don't need such info).--Tom Moorefiat justitia ruat coelum 15:54, 27 May 2008 (EDT)
Copyright
What's the status of the youtube clip? Was it posted legitimately by the CBC rather than pirated? Daphnea 14:55, 26 June 2008 (EDT)
