Dan Paul Eubanks (born June 11, 1970) is a Presbyterian clergyman who since 2016 has been a Republican state representative for District 25 in DeSoto County in northwestern Mississippi.[1][2]

The son of John and Ruth Eubanks, he was born in the village of Hicksville in Defiance County in northwestern Ohio. he graduated from Northeast High School in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He studied commercial photography from 1989 to 1990 at Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas. From 1990 to 1991, he attended Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia in Tate County. In 1994, he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He took an Old Testament course in 2007-2008 at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Cordova, Tennessee. He took specialized courses in Graz, Austria, and Guadalajara, Mexico.[1]

Until his election to the legislature, Eubanks was youth and young adults pastor at the Advent Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee. He is now the director of Recreation, Outreach and Local Missions. but resides in Walls in DeSoto County with his wife, the former Corey Moore-Luckhardt, and their son.[3]

In 2015, Eubanks won a highly contested Republican primary race against the incumbent legislator W. E. "Gene" Alday, who carried the support of the DeSoto County political organization run by Milton Kuykendall, who stepped down later in 2015 as the public school superintendent. Eubanks then defeated the Democrat Harold D. Harris in the November 3 general election.[4] 

Eubanks serves on these House committees: (1) Performance Based Budgeting (vice chairman), (2) Agriculture, (3) Banking and Financial Services, (4) Energy, (5) Constitution, and (6) Insurance.[2] In 2016, Representative Eubanks co-sponsored the bill to prohibit dismemberment abortions in Mississippi. He voted to grant civil and criminal immunity to those reporting what they believe are instances of terrorism. He co-sponsored legislation to permit churches to have designated personnel with firearms. He voted to guarantee protections for religious beliefs and matters of moral conscience. In 2017, Eubanks co-sponsored the measures to authorize additional methods of execution in Mississippi and to classify the killing of first responders as first-degree murder.[5]

Eubanks' older brother, James David Eubanks, ran unsuccessfully in 2015 for the District 1 seat in the Mississippi State Senate. He was defeated in the primary by the incumbent Republican Chris Massey, a home builder from Nesbit in DeSoto County.
