Diaspora

Diaspora was the scattering of the Jews away from their homeland. The first diaspora scattered the across the ancient world after they had been held captive in Babylon in the sixth century BC. The second diaspora was in AD 132 when the Romans destroyed the Jewish stated and dispersed the Jewish people to faraway lands.
