Flipped classroom

A flipped classroom is one that inverts the traditional approach of lecturing in class, and assigning homework assignments for after-school work. In a flipped classroom, homework is done in class, and the after-school work consists of watching lectures on a computer.

Clintondale High School, which has declining enrollment consisting of many low-income families near Detroit, is experiment with flipped classrooms to try to improve its rank as one of the lowest-performing schools in Michigan.[1]
