Flying Spaghetti Monster

The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is a modern religion founded in 2005 by the honourable Bobby Henderson.
The Church revolves around a theory of creation called the "Pastafarian" and has links to intelligent design while being unintelligent it itself. As of 2007 Church elders are lobbying with the Kansas State Board of Education to require the teaching of Pastafarian, Creationism and Intelligent Design as an alternative to biological evolution in science classrooms.
The Flying Spaghetti Monster is used by atheists, such as Richard Dawkins, as a modern version of Russell's teapot.
