Incorporation Doctrine

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Aschlafly (Talk | contribs) at 13:55, June 18, 2008. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Incorporation Doctrine states that the Bill of Rights, with some exceptions, applies, through the Fourteenth Amendment, to municipal and state governments as well as the federal government. The Incorporation doctrine excludes Amendments II and III, trial by jury in civil cases, and excessive bail and fines.[1]
