Kadima is a centrist political party in Israel, founded in 2005 by Ariel Sharon after a dispute with his Likud party. The current head is Tzipi Livni, who challenged Benjamin Netanyahu of Likud in the 2008 election, but ultimately lost, thus bringing Likud as Israel's present ruling party.
