Paul Copan(born September 26, 1962) is a Christianity theologian, philosopher, Christian apologist, and author.

Copan is a professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University and holds the endowed Pledger Family Chair of Philosophy and Ethics. He has written and/or edited over 25 books in the areas of: the philosophy of religion, Christian apologetics, theology and the area of the philosophy of science & religion.

Within the area of Christian apologetics one of his focuses is on the historicity of Jesus Christ.

He has written many journal articles and essays for books. For six years he served as the president of the Evangelical Philosophical Society.[1]
