A right of attribution under copyright law is a guarantees to an author of fine arts or exhibition photographs the right to claim or disclaim his authorship in the work.

A right of attribution may include an author's limited rights to prevent distortion, mutilation, or modification of a work.

A right of attribution may also include the right, under some circumstances, to prevent destruction of a work that is incorporated into a building.
