Stephen Bryen is a senior fellow at the Washington, D.C.-based Center for Security Policy, former senior staff director of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and former Under Secretary of Defense for Trade Security Policy. Morley Safer of CBS 60 Minutes described Bryen as the "Pentagon's top cop," entrusted with the task of preserving the nation's technological edge. Time magazine described Bryen as the "Yoda of the arms trade". Bryen is the former President of Delta Tech Inc. and Finmeccanica North America. Bryen was the founder and first head of the Defense Technology Security Administration. Bryen writes for Asia Times, American Thinker, Epoch Times, Newsweek, Washington Times, the Jewish Policy Center and others.[1]
