Heaven and Suicide

I think this adds insight.

What about the nature of heaven? What is heaven like? Does it differ from individual to individual?

Good insight. Heaven, whatever else will be, is essentially a relation to a Person - the Lord Jesus Christ, and through Him, these others, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. We know very little about these realities but will learn, I imagine, as eternity "rolls on". All relations, in a sense, involve, rather require, what is personal, on our part,and of course, on His part - He is the true Person. For that reason, there may well be a person to person, individual appreciation of Him who has worked in our soul uniquely. This does not mean that there are many "heavens" each according to his likes or religion. But there will be a white stone given to us with our new name which only He and each individual given the stone, will know.Bert Schlossberg 03:43, 29 November 2008 (EST)

Recent revert

Due to the nature of Conservapedia, predominant religious qualities are written as they are understood. So anyone wanting to know what heaven is would read something like "the place where God dwells" not "some people believe it is the place where God dwells".

We'll also need more information that only some Muslims believe that Jihad will get them into heaven. I'm sure there are some self-identifying Muslims who don't believe in a heaven, or even God, but we're talking about theology as taught by schools of Muslim thought based upon their holy books.

The idea of the 72 virgins being parodied doesn't necessarily add to the article. The article as written expresses views without addressing social comments, and that seems to be more encyclopedic.

Orthodox purgatory?

I don't believe that the Orthodox believe in Purgatory. It seems from the article that they do.BertSchlossberg 17:37, 26 April 2008 (EDT)

Kingdom of Heaven is within you
