Talk:Jared Kushner

What is the role of a Senior White House Adviser? In the case of Kushner, who himself separately is a billionaire, this could be a case study.

Kushner's role isn't so much to give his own personal advice, rather to vet policy ideas and options from among lower level staff, and when a plausible solution or idea seems forthcoming, then to present the idea and whoever formulated it to the President for action and approval. Opposition to Trump

Article had claimed:

  • Along with his wife Ivanka, Kushner has opposed President Trump's conservative agenda, and the couple has given the president bad advice.[1]
A brief scan of the article revealed no supporting details for this claim. Was I speedreading too fast? Or what? My impression of Kushner is that he's Trump's most reliable supporter, a take-charge guy who works behind the scenes to get stuff done. Is he really - as critics imply - a total failure? Or is that that just another snarky cheap shot? --Ed Poor Talk 10:25, 3 April 2020 (EDT)
