Mathematical Physicists

Ever since - at least - the time of Isaac Newton, physics and mathematics are twins. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe tried to do optics without mathematics (and failed), the Arische Physik wanted to limit the importance of theoretical physics - and failed, too.
