Template:WP no copying
NOTE: Conservapedia does not permit copying articles from Wikipedia or other sites which are mirrors of or based on Wikipedia articles, except in the case that you are the author of the Wikipedia article, and you are copying it as you wrote it, that is, without alterations by other editors. If you do copy your own article, then you must place a notice on the article's talk page that you are the original author of the Wikipedia article. Template "{{Copied from}}" can be used for this.

Template Parameters (See using templates). | |||
---|---|---|---|
Name | Purpose | Required? | Comment |
article | Name of copied article | no | see note A and example below |
multi | 'yes' to indicate multiple copied articles | no | see notes A and B |
Note A: Although this template can be used by anybody to advise another editor of the rules about copying, supplying either of the optional parameter presumes that the template is being used by an administrator, as it adds a note about the article being deleted and contacting the person posting the template if a mistake has been made.
Note B: You must not supply both optional parameters. Supply one only, or neither. Setting 'multi' to yes causes the notice to appear as shown in example B.
Example A:
Following is an example of how the template appears if the optional parameter 'article' is supplied (in this case, "Santa Claus"):

Your article (Santa Claus) has been or will be deleted. If you believe that this is a mistake, please contact me and put your case (it can be undeleted).
Example B;
Following is an example of how the template appears if the optional parameter 'multi' is set to 'yes':
