Yes, I am an atheist. I will never stop writing about the atheists martyred in Bangladesh for the "crime" of blogging their opinion. I will never let the world forget Raif Badawi, sentenced to 1,000 lashes for secular blogging. I will never let the world forget atheism is punishable by death in Afghanistan, Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen. I will never forget that 5% of Saudis are atheists, forced out of cafes to mosques to pray to a deity that doesn't exist.[1] Believing in a higher power should be a choice, not codified into law upon penalty of death.
