I think McCain will do an excellent job at stirring up the government and shaking out all those people dragging on the system. There's too much fat in Washington and he's not afraid to cut it. I never questioned the current president. It's my opinion that a smear campaign of his policies by liberals has unfortunately convinced many on the Right to abandon him. While some criticism was due (every politician makes mistakes), he's been reduced to a lame duck president for more than a year now and all the terrible events (economic crisis, etc) have been blamed on him when in fact, he's been powerless to make a change. The government is not a dictatorship. What Bush says should happen doesn't automatically go into effect -- he has to have support. And with his political base fleeing because it's so easy to go with the popular flow, I feel a lot of pity for the scorn he's had to endure. McCain has never thrown blame on Bush but always on Washington, and I respect him for that. -Foxtrot 12:57, 3 November 2008 (EST)

to say that my religion should be a factor in determining who I should vote for is ridiculous.. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at such foolishness. I'm christian and voted for Obama, and someone questions it? I take that as an insult. I was going to vote for McGreasyhands, but after I read about him cheating on his past wife, his gambling addiction (oh look, not in his article I see), and his voting record the same as Bush, I cant support him. Instead of letting my faith influencing my choice, which wouldn't matter anyway because both men are respectable believers of God regardless of what lies people spew. I let logic decide, and it was easy. Does it really matter what religion the president is? it won't change my faith or belief, so it doesn't matter. What matters is if the president is good enough for my country, not my ideology...

then again, the same people who think that christians who should vote for McCain are the same people who think obama is Muslim anyway, and refuse to acknowledge his Christianity... two words: PATHETIC DENIAL. Im shocked people like Foxtrot can say I'm "misguided" and that they're voting "the right way" and "picked better" than me. Well guess what, it's my choice, not yours, and to question my faith based on how I vote is completely uncalled for. Grow up and quit believing rumors... you two insulted me for no reason!
