Walter van der Kamp (1913-1998) was a Dutch-Canadian Biblical astronomer. Van der Kamp reexamined the claims of Galileo and made the case for the geocentrism proposed by Tycho Brahe.

In 1955 van der Kamp immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands. In 1967, he circulated a paper on geocentrism among Christians. He demonstrated that Galileo could not have proven heliocentrism with the tools available in his era, and argued that more recent astronomical data did not conclusively demonstrate heliocentrism. He devoted his life to a system of astronomy based on Biblical principles.
