Abdul-Halim Sadulayev (June 2, 1966 - June 17, 2006) was a Chechen politician who served as President of Ichkeria from 2005 until 2006.

Sadulayev's framed the Chechen struggle contained elements of both nationalism and Islamism.[1]

Killed on June 17, 2006, by agents of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) and Kadyrovite soldiers — militia units founded by first Chechen Republic president Akhmad Kadyrov, one day later, Sadulayev was succeeded by the vice president and guerrilla leader Dokka Umarov , widely known as "Russia's Osama bin Laden," who continued armed attacks on Russia and its Chechen allies until February 2012.[2]
