Charles Chaput
Most Reverend Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap., is an Archbishop for the Archdiocese of Denver, Colorado. He is their main shepherd and teacher of the Catholic community in Northern Colorado. Archbishop Chaput is one of the most respected leaders of the Catholic Church in America.

Life
Born September 26, 1944, in Concordia, Kansas. Son of Joseph and Marian DeMarais Chaput. Attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Grade School in Concordia and St. Francis Seminary High School in Victoria, Kansas. In 1965, Charles joined the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, St. Augustine Province. He was ordained to the priesthood on August 29, 1970. Bishop Chaput is currently serving the assignment by Pope John Paul II, who appointed him Archbishop of Denver on February 18, 1997.[1]

Catholics nationwide pray deeply for more Bishops such as Charles J. Chaput. His public stance against evil is an inspiration. His determination to end abortion is never ending. He doesn't hide from the Truth, he proclaims it for all to hear. This tends to attract pagan dissent and secular complaints. Recently, he was denied the right to speak at the DNC Presidential convention in his own town.[2]
