Arms Trade Treaty

The Arms Trade Treaty is a United Nations gun control initiative which was signed by then-Secretary of State John Kerry on behalf of the United States on September 25, 2013, but has never been ratified by the U.S. Senate.

This treaty would:

• deny the individual right to keep and bear arms
• regulate all firearms, firearm components, and ammunition
• requires countries to establish invasive firearm registries such that government knows who owns a firearm having what model
• allow governments to disarm the civilian population
• to engage in civilian disarmament
• authorize the United Nations to assist countries in disarmament schemes.

In 2021, Joe Biden's advisers have sought to rejoin this treaty. The globalist Council on Foreign Relations lists this treaty as a priority for Biden to rejoin.
