William Edward Haslam, known as Bill Haslam (born August 23, 1958), is a former mayor of his native Knoxville and a Republican former two-term Governor of his state, with service from 2011 to 2019. He was succeeded in 2019 by another Republican, Bill Lee.
Political positions
Haslam is the owner of the Pilot Flying J chain of truck stops with wealth exceeding $2 billion.
He is pro-life and opposed to same-sex marriage and gun control.[2]
