Brian Birdwell
Brian Birdwell is a Republican state senator in Texas who is the leading point man for the Texas oligarchy that demands a Convention of States, the Paxton Impeachment, and other ego-driven harm to the state to the country.
Birdwell took office in 2010, and was reelected to represent Senate District 22 in term that ends on Jan. 11, 2027. With backing by the influential dark money mega-donors in Texas, he was elected its senate president pro tempore on Jan. 12, 2021. Prior to his political run he served in the US Army, and was burned over 60% of his body when one of the September 11 planes crashed into the Pentagon near his office.
Although apparently not an attorney, Birdwell was quickly appointed by Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick to be the chairman of the rules committee in order to deny Ken Paxton a fair trial in the Texas Senate in the summer of 2023.
