Brothers on a Road Less Traveled
Brothers on a Road Less Traveled, until October 2016 known as People Can Change (PCC), is an international, interfaith, nonprofit, peer-led support and educational organization primarily of men from homosexual or bisexual backgrounds who seek, for their own, deeply personal reasons, to resolve, diminish or make peace with their unwanted same-sex attractions (SSA). These personal reasons typically mean they do not accept or identify with the label “gay” and prefer instead to work to minimize or eliminate their sexualization of other men. According to the organization's claim, that doesn’t mean they are in denial or are suppressing their supposedly “true selves,” but quite the opposite. Organization goes go against the mainstream secular culture of today and represents a significant alternative to gay-affirming identities and lifestyles, and its members believe it is their right to pursue happiness as they see fit, especially when it involves something as personal as their sexuality, faith, emotions and relationships. Yet they claim to respect the right of others to pursue different paths to peace and believe in civil discourse and in mutual respect, even — and especially — when people disagree.[1]

In October 2016, we changed our name and became Brothers on a Road Less Traveled (or Brothers Road, for short). ... It takes great courage to go against the mainstream secular culture of today and instead choose to live in accordance with our faith, personal values, our morals and life goals.”
