Category talk:Musicla Forms

This page should be headed Musical Forms, not Musicla Forms. Can someone who can please correct it? AlanE (talk) 19:56, 24 March 2017 (EDT)

Well, I have no idea how. We have a Category:Musical Forms, which I believe you created, which this category is in, but we'd have to change a bunch of category tags. I've changed a few as it is, but let me try some things to get rid of this.--Abcqwe (talk) 20:01, 24 March 2017 (EDT)

Okay, all I did was make it look stupid with a redirect. Sounds to me like the case for a deletion, but I don't know how. Care to ask an admin or maybe a high ranking-editor? It looks like 1990s guy, RobSmith, and Conservative are editing now (see recent change), but I feel 1990s guy is overworked.--Abcqwe (talk) 20:06, 24 March 2017 (EDT)

Yes. It was most likely me 8 or 9 years ago when I was in my hurry-up-and-get-it-done stage. It doesn't matter here but the problem with simple redirects can occur when an article that was sweated over by its original maker becomes what looks like the work of the redirector. I usually find that by throwing it up in the air it will be snaffled by some passing admin -usually Cons or Karajou - in other words what you suggested I do, only I'm less particular in the choice of target. (Both those gentlemen have the daily health of the project at heart.)

I'll recategorize the pages, but I can't delete this page. We can try to ask an admin directly, or just throw this on the heap of pages to be deleted (maybe....in the distant future...) by adding a delete request. Anyway, I'll pull the pages over. --David B ^(TALK) 23:35, 24 March 2017 (EDT)
