Chat room

A chat room is a virtual rooms in cyberspace where multiple people can communicate together in a real time setting. Users of chat rooms generally communicate with text, although some more modern chat rooms also allow for voice and even video communication as well. Communications are usually received and relayed by a central server. One of the earliest types of chat room was Internet Relay Chat.
