Christopher Allen Wright (born January 15, 1965) is an American engineer and businessman who is the CEO of Liberty Energy, North America's second largest hydraulic fracturing company. He is the presumptive nominee for United States secretary of energy under Donald Trump's second presidency.
Education
Wright was born in 1965 and grew up in Colorado. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in electrical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He was a graduate student in electrical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, and MIT.
