Christopher John "Chris" Hipkins (born 1978) is the 41st and former Prime Minister of New Zealand, as well as the leader of the New Zealand Labour Party. He succeeded the far-Left Jacinda Ardern in both capacities on January 25, 2023, following Ardern's announcement of her resignation six days earlier.[1]
