Chunichi Shimbun

Chūnichi Shimbun(中日新聞, China and Japan News Central Japan News) is a Japanese left-wing newspaper.

The headquarters is in Nagoya, and the total circulation of the group newspapers is the third largest after Yomiuri Shimbun and Asahi Shimbun.

Aichi Prefecture is the political ground of the Democratic Party of Japan[1].


First published under the newspaper control of 1942 by integrating Shin-Aichi and the Nagoya Shimbun.


Chunichi Shimbun reporter Isoko Mochizuki is the owner of the left-wing idea and strongly opposed the LDP Shinzo Abe administration. Repression has been received from the official residence.


Owns Chunichi Dragons. The father of Japanese baseball is the socialist leftist activist Isoo Abe.
