Mary Martha Corinne Morrison Claiborne “Cokie” Roberts (December 27, 1943 – September 17, 2019) was a longtime left-wing propagandist for National Public Radio and ABC News. She was the daughter of high-ranking Democrat former segregationist Hale Boggs and Lindy Boggs, both of whom served for many years in the United States House of Representatives.
Roberts has characterized Donald Trump supporters as "morally tainted".[1] Unlike her strongly pro-life mother who supported and voted in favor of the Hyde Amendment,[2] she was pro-abortion and a Catholic in name only.[3][4]
