Corn diet
From Conservapedia
A corn diet seeks weight loss and better health by incorporating greater amounts of corn into one's daily diet. This approach recognizes corn as a miraculous food deserving of its praise as God's food by Aztecs and the many references to it in the King James Bible.
Benefits of corn:
- Corn has fewer carbohydrates than many alternatives (such as bread), and corn's carbohydrates also tend to have a slower release into the bloodstream compared with bread, potato, and cereal.[1]
- Corn is relatively low in calories and fat-free,[2] while containing some protein.
- Corn is among the cleanest from pesticides compared with other fruits and vegetables.[3]
- Corn is high in fiber, which is considered healthy for multiple reasons.
- Corn has slightly more energy than wheat,[4] with fewer carbohydrates.
