Criticism[edit]
Fans and critics alike have criticized how the DCEU has been handled. Unlike Marvel, which used five films to build up The Avengers, DC went right into Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice from Man of Steel, which was a reboot of the Superman series. Many have taken this as DC trying to catch up with Marvel.
