Introduction

As the latest war between Israel and Hamas escalates, it is becoming increasingly likely that the United States will militarily intervene on behalf of Israel. Because of this, for the first time in many years we are seeing a real debate among conservatives concerning the Israeli-American relationship. While in the past most conservatives supported Israel, a growing number are now distancing themselves from Israel and some are even beginning to support the Palestinians.

Yes, and militarily intervene

In the very meantime, I think this is the most plausible solution for wiping out the Hamas Amalekites off the face of the earth for the better of humanity, so there's one less Nazi menace threatening the Jews. However, given Israel's rather suspicious record of aggressive settlement policies which moronically did nothing but to provoke Palestinian ultranationalists and give them an extra excuse to attack Israel, I'm beginning to think there are larger strings pulled here. (and no, I definitely don't believe "the Jews" are running a world conspiracy)

In addition, what the United States will inevitably do is out of our control. The United States of America is the second beast of Revelation chapter 13, and its actions have already been prophesied by John the Apostle on the island of Patmos in cir. 95 A.D. —LT Rev. 22:13 Tuesday, 11:40, October 31, 2023 (EDT)

Yes, but don't militarily intervene

Wiping out Hamas, yes (using the go slow or long war strategy, not a blitzkrieg strategy). Going to war against Iran, no. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 23:22, October 31, 2023 (EDT)

No, stay neutral

The more I learn about Benjamin Netanyahu, the less I like him. At this point I see him as being as much of a liability as Volodymyr Zelensky, and just as I will no longer support Ukraine as long as the Maidan regime remains in power I will no longer support Israel as long as Netanyahu remains in office.

On a related note, just as I do support Russia against Zelensky's Ukraine I am currently very tempted to support the Palestinians against Netanyahu's Israel, if for any reason to spite the man who regularly undermines our national interests and interferes in our internal affairs. And on a more personal level I'm a firm believer in the so-called "conspiracy theory" that Netanyahu intentionally allowed the October 7 attacks to happen, so I therefore blame him for my aunt and uncle for being put in harm's way while visiting Israel.

However, there is one thing stopping me from supporting the Palestinians, and that's Hamas. I trust Hamas even less than I trust Netanyahu, because while Netanyahu has thrown in with the Wahhabi movement which attacked us on 9/11 from time to time out of pragmatism, Hamas has done so more extensively and for ideological reasons. And of course, I also don't stand for the genocidal antisemitism that Hamas stands for, and so even now I would give the Israel moral support any day of the week.

But regardless, this isn't America's fight. Nor should it be. Israel is not in our backyard, and Netanyahu has demonstrated that he cannot be trusted to not take advantage of us should we offer support beyond the rhetorical level. So until Israel has a new leader, I vote for total neutrality.--Geopolitician (talk) 16:43, November 5, 2023 (EST)

No, support the Palestinians but don't militarily intervene

No, the Zionist State is committing extreme War Crimes. See this: "Senator Van Hollen EXPOSES the fact that ISRAEL has KILLED 6 times more children in Gaza in 3 weeks, than have been killed in the ENTIRE UKRAINE WAR!

Van Hollen also admits that someone he knows well in Gaza just had FOUR CHILDREN KILLED!" https://twitter.com/jacksonhinklle/status/1719896889368219722

The US should (1) cut off all funding to the Zionist State, (2) seriously limit the power the AIPAC lobby has over many politicians (3) be extremely skeptical of IDF/Mossad's desperate and wicked tactics, including targeted and indiscriminate bombing of children, as the above stats incontrovertibly show is being done. (4) stop vetoing UN resolutions for ceasefire and humanitarian aid (5) call for a ceasefire. NishantXavierFor Christ the King 03:26, November 2, 2023 (EDT)
