Douglas Elmendorf

Douglas W. Elmendorf currently serves as Director of the Congressional Budget Office under Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Previously, he was a senior fellow in the Economic Studies program at the Brookings Institution. Elmendorf received a Ph.D. and A.M. in economics from Harvard University.
