South Park was banned in communist China!
South Park had shifted decidedly toward the left in the past few years, promoting socialism and environmentalism and degrading conservatives. The first episode of the twenty-third season even mocked ICE.
But they seem to be coming back, and released a new episode just recently which was heavily critical of the Chinese government. The episode, entitled Band in China ironically caused the whole show to actually be banned in China! They later released a tweet containing a fake apology to the Chinese government and a link to the offending episode.
So, maybe South Park can bounce back from its declining state. Maybe South Park, the famous libertarian cartoon, is back!
