The Fraser Institute is a Canadian conservative libertarian think tank. They believe in decentralizing the Canadian public school system, lowering tax rates, reforming immigration, finding cost-effective methods for reducing global warming, and reduce health costs by increasing the influence of private sector insurance and reducing government interference.[1]
The Fraser Institute is headquartered in Vancouver, with regional offices in Calgary, Montreal, and Toronto. The Institute's research is peer reviewed, and it will not accept any government funding, in order to ensure independence.[2] The Institute has been ranked by Princeton University as the most influential think-tank in Canada, and among the top in North America. Milton Friedman was once a member of the Fraser Institute.
