Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance was a 2016 best-selling book by Angela Duckworth.
The psychology researcher Angela Duckworth and her colleagues examined grit as a predictor of long-term success. It found that individuals who possess a drive to consistently work through obstacles, failures, and adversity to achieve their goals and are significantly better positioned to reach higher achievements.[1] For Ivy League students, Duckworth found that grit was a stronger predictor of success than a person's commulative GPA.
