Hines Ward

Hines Ward is a National Football League wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers. After playing football collegiately at the University of Georgia, he was drafted in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is the Steelers all-time leader in receptions and has caught as of the beginning of the 2008 season, 65 touchdowns. He was named the MVP of Super Bowl XL when he caught five passes for 123 yards and a touchdown.[1]

In September, 2010, Ward was appointed to the President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.[2]
