Hoover Institution

The Hoover Institution is an American conservative/libertarian think-tank, which is part of Stanford University with a separate governing board and operating budget. It is located on the Stanford campus and its tower is publicly associated with the university.
Ever since neoconservativism became a dirty word after the Iraq war, the Hoover Institution has been attempting to scrub its reputation and website from being renowned as a "museum of neoconservativism": The Stanford Review: Hoover's Neoconservatism Can't Last, February 21, 2025:
