Victor Davis Hanson, often called VDH (born September 5, 1953), is a historian at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University and a contributor to the National Review.
Hanson has written numerous books on various historical and political topics, including The Case for Trump (2019) and The Dying Citizen, an extensive chronicle that focuses on the hazards from illegal immigration. He frequently appears on Fox News, particularly the Jesse Watters and Laura Ingraham programs, and Newsmax to discuss current issues. He is a Republican and a conservative.
