Italy (pronounced "IT-lee", with two syllables, unlike the country) is a town in Texas, at the far southern end of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Notable people from the city include Dale Evans Rogers (second wife of "The Singing Cowboy" Roy Rogers) and Jack Hyles (the prominent, though controversial, Independent Baptist pastor).
