Roy Rogers (born Leonard Franklin Slye) (November 5, 1911 – July 6, 1998) was an American singer and cowboy actor, whose third and last wife was his co-star, Dale Evans Rogers.
The couple was staunchly conservative and Republican. Together they had nine children, but the only one from their marriage, Robin Elizabeth Rogers, died shortly before her second birthday from complications of Down syndrome.
His museum in Victorville, California, later moved to Branson, Missouri, where it was closed several years later because of the decline in the customer base.
