Jeff Yass is mega-donor to free market candidates, and an early investor in TikTok. As of the summer of 2024 he owned 7% of TikTok, valued at $21 billion.
He gives heavily to the school choice movement, including a donation of $6 to the reelection campaign of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (there are no campaign contribution limits on such donations in Texas state races).[1]
In 2022, Yass was the third largest contributor to Republican candidates nationwide, donating a total of $47 million.[1]
