Jennifer Kate Hudson

Jennifer Kate Hudson, born September 12, 1981 (age 43), is a singer and actress that received fame as a finalist on Fox's American Idol. Jennifer was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After American Idol, she was cast in the leading role of Dreamgirls, a Broadway production made into a movie. She was nominated for four Grammy's, and won a Golden Globe Award, an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award.

Hudson is also an opponent of the Second Amendment, having performed at the anti-Second Amendment March for Our Lives on March 24, 2018 in Washington, D.C.[1]

Murders

On October 24, 2008, her mother Darnell Donerson, her brother Jason Hudson and her nephew Julian King were reported murdered. William Balfour, the estranged husband of sister Julia Hudson, became the chief suspect of the murders on December 1, 2008 and is in police custody.
